Perched atop a scenic overlook of the creek below, Still Pond Creek Retreat is a 1-bedroom studio apartment, 1-bath apartment that boasts big amenities. The cozy modern decor throughout makes the space an amazing place to relax and disconnect. Spend the day exploring nearby state parks or spend time on the water exploring the Chesapeake Bay then return home to cozy up next to the fire pit under the stars after you enjoy the gorgeous sunset that the Eastern Shore has to offer..
Living Space
The open floor plan begins with a cozy living room and kitchen. The living room has a flat-screen TV with your favorite TV app streaming available along with a fast 50-100mbps internet connection utilizing StarLink throughout the property. There is also a fold down Full Size Futon for sleeping.
Outdoor space
You’ll love spending time on our private tree covered property with the best view on the Eastern Shore, whether it be soaking up some sun on our private beach and dock, cooking dinner on the grill (propane provided), or just sitting down, relaxing and recapping the days adventures watching the sunset while toasting s’mores around the fire pit. If you’re feeling on the more competitive side, challenge your partner to a game of cornhole with our custom cornhole boards.
Kitchen & Dining
In the kitchen, there is a small stove top and microwave to cook your weekend meals along with a grill available outside. The coffee bar is available for your morning brew of coffee or teas. A Keurig is also provided with a selection of pods as well as assorted teas and hot chocolate. Not an item was missed when appointing this kitchen making meal prep a breeze.
Bed & Bathroom
The bedroom has a comfortable full size mattress, quality pillows, and high quality sheets that provide an amazing night’s sleep after a long day of swimming and hiking or other daytime adventures. There is also a twin size bed for additional sleeping space.
The bathroom provides a walk in shower and towels and essentials are provided.
Amenities & General Info
Complimentary linens, towels, beach towels, toiletries, and Hair dryer provided. Apt is on the second floor. 2 exterior security cameras (facing out). Adequate cell service and wifi provided.
Parking
Ample parking for 2 or more vehicles. Parking for guests is designated at the top of the hill in the small parking lot space near the shed. Please leave the parking spaces in front of the garage open for the cars that are parked in the garage.
Security
Two security cameras are in place on the property, one facing the driveway and one at the front of the garage. The cameras actively record video for your protection and safety.
